Restaurant “moat room” & bar
Country-style, … but … !
The estate with its old walls having this country-style character, the old cattle route from Pastorswall to the courtyard (beer garden) - separating restaurant and bar visually -, rustic furniture and terracotta colored stone - we tried to combine it with cloths and corresponding color to put the final touch to it.
“The word “modern”cannot be connected with an old estate like Mertenshof”, says Mrs. Petra Zachau-Jansen, “but “ennobling the old” are just the right words.
In any way, our guests appreciate the pleasant and relaxing atmosphere … so I think I met the present spirit of the times.”
Opening hours
Daily (no closing day) from 5 pm, on Sundays and public holidays also from 11 am to 2.30 pm.
Of course we open our restaurant also for groups of 10 persons and up at any other desired time.
